Digital Radiography

Digital Radiography with admission capacity of 200 patients in every 24 hrs.

Different types of general radiography including radiography of head and neck, radiography of lower limb, radiography of upper limb and radiography of trunk

Different types of specialized radiography and radiography with contrast media (agents)

  • Barium Sallow (an X-ray imaging test used to visualize the structures of the esophagus)
  • The Upper Gastrointestinal Series (UGI) ; examination of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, and a portion of the small bowel
  • Barium meal (a barium examination of the stomach and the first part of the small intestine)
  • Transit (small intestine transit test)
  • Barium enema (an X-ray exam that can detect changes or abnormalities in the large intestine –colon-) – with prior appointment
  • Fistulagraphy (an X-ray procedure to view an abnormal passage (fistula) caused by infection or a blow)
  • Intravenous pyelogram (IVP) (an X-ray test that provides pictures of the kidneys, the bladder, the ureters, and the urethra (urinary tract))
  • VCUG (a voiding Cystourethrogram, a minimally invasive test that uses a special X-ray technology called fluoroscopy to visualize urinary tract and urinary bladder reflux)
  • RUG (retrograde urethrogram; a routine radiologic procedure -most typically in males- used to image the integrity of the urethra)
  • CTT (study of total and segmental colonic transit time with radiopaque markers) for patients with lazy bowel syndrome
  • HCG (Hysterosalpingography; a radiologic procedure to investigate the shape of the uterine cavity and the shape and patency of the fallopian tubes) – with prior appointment

Different types of jaw and dental X-rays

  • OPG (Orthopantomogram) that provides a panoramic view of the upper and lower jaws
  • Cephalography (a radiography of the head-jaw and lower part of the face-especially for orthodontic purposes)
  • PA (X-ray of a single tooth or two or three teeth for examination of the root filling on a tooth right after the root canal has been done)
  • Bitewing (taken to visualize the molar and premolar teeth for detecting any decay
